Economic Development and Community Relations

Creating and maintaining a positive image for Forest Hill is key to the success of our businesses as well as our city government.  The City of Forest Hill is fortunate to have many dedicated community leaders who understand the importance of cohesive economic development. This is the partnership we strive to uphold our Community Driven spirit. Efforts are being made to strengthen our business retention and expansion programs by re-establishing the Forest Hill Chamber of Commerce, reinvesting wealth and physical resources within our local economy and ultimately improving Forest Hill’s economic position through job creation.

Tourism remains a growth industry in Texas. Forest Hill hopes to capitalize on tourism by sponsoring events and festivals aimed at attracting people into our City.
The City will work with our business partners to organize, plan, coordinate and direct the planning, implementation, and oversight of the City’s economic incentives, business recruitment and retention on a case by case basis through the City Manager and the Economic Development Corporation Board.

Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our citizens is one of the most important goals of this office.  We urge those in our community to utilize our open door policy.

The Economic Development and Community Relations office is at City Hall located at 3219 California Parkway.  Staff can be reached at 817- 568-3000.
