Economic Development and Community Relations

Creating and maintaining a positive image for Forest Hill is key to the success of our businesses as well as our city government.  The partnership we strive to uphold guides our Community Driven spirit.

The Economic Development and Community Relations office works closely with our business partners to organize, plan, coordinate and direct the planning, implementation, and oversight of the City’s economic incentives, business recruitment and retention.  The Director, working closely with the City Manager, represents the City in negotiations related to land use and development and assists with revisions to the City’s comprehensive plan.  Promoting economic development for the City is of the utmost importance.  The office also coordinates city sponsored community events and assists various Boards and Commissions.

Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our citizens is one of the most important goals of this office.  We urge those in our community to utilize our open door policy.

The Economic Development and Community Relations office is located at City Hall.  Staff can be reached at 817- 568-3000.
