It is illegal to dump trash or any debris in garbage containers located on city property, including but not limited to the City Hall complex. Therefore, please do not attempt to place personal trash or debris in these containers or you will be subject to a fine for committing a Class B or C Misdemeanor of the Texas Penal Code.
City garbage containers are provided by the garbage contractor specifically for City/Community Center usage. Any other usage would be strictly prohibited.
However, recyclables can be dropped off in the appropriate containers at City Hall. Signs located on the receptacles clearly mark what is and isn’t allowed. The City appreciates your cooperation. If you have any questions, please call (817) 568-3000.
