Forest Hill Explorer Post #175

The Forest Hill Explorer Program is nationally recognized as a work-based curriculum that teaches young adults, who want a career in law enforcement, the introductory skills needed to get started.

Those who participate will learn leadership skills, assist Forest Hill Police Officers with community events like National Night Out and traffic control. They will also participate in the Ride-Along program, compete in numerous Explorer competitions such as the annual Fort Worth Explorer SWAT Camp, attend Explorer academies, and learn all aspects of a police officer’s job.

Being a part of Explorer Post #175 is voluntary and available to those between 14 and 21 years of age.  They will need to maintain a “C” grade point average in school and must undergo a criminal background investigation.  Those who qualify and fulfill all necessary requirements will become a part of a proud group of young adults who take pride in their community, their fellow Explorers and themselves.
